Shadowed [The Killer, Part 1]

Solid yellow roses
lay across her body.
Deathly smells toss
them back to reality.

The death of an
inept lover
leaves them to wonder
who will be the other.

A cunning serial killer
is fiercely on the prowl.
his mistakes gave leads,
but there's two more fouls.

His life is based
upon his evil mind.
As they search and search
it's getting easier to find.

Find the shadowed answers
connecting one by one.
They need to move faster,
for him it's just games and fun.

    If I were you, I would have put this under the "dark" category, since I find it have more of a horror perspective, rather than that of a sad one. I would have liked to have seen more punctuation in this, as I think that would have helped the flow a little bit.

    It was still very interesting to read though. I like the suspense it created.
