What's left.

by Teria   Apr 4, 2007

Advisement is necessary in a
battle of love and hate.

Counting every minute,
distance and words.
Every tear that falls
fiercely hits the
ground so cold.

Hopelessness recovers my heart,
immune to nuisance, now.

Just as numerous fears
keel over slowly,
love intrudes to
meditate a purpose
noticeably for reasons.

Only you can fix these
problems now, somehow.

Questions of you
repeat in my mind
slowly getting louder as
time goes on and on,
under the heavens above.

Velocity is catching up,
weaker and weaker I get.
Xnty losing control
yielding all hope as
zealots ruin what's left.

Now *this* is what I meant when I mentioned poems that made me go, "Wow, that's unique!" I love the structure here; it's different.

My favourite stanza was the last one: nice word-choice, and all-around a great ending.

Very nice. I like the structure, the rapidity, the word selection. Good writing. May your new love grow and blossom :)
