A Suicidal Teen(How Typical)

by kels   Apr 4, 2007

She wakes up
At the break of dawn,
No one will notice
If she is gone.

She smiles gently
Today's The Day,
This is the day
She'll take her own life away.

She screams, she cries
But no one hears,
No one notices
Her face full of tears.

She kisses her mom
And kissed her dad,
But they don't notice
She's lonely and sad.

She tells her friends
She'll be back soon,
But they don't know
She'll be dead by noon.

She closes the door
And quietly cries,
She can't stand
All the pain and the lies.

She starts to put
All her things away,
She's leaving forever
That very same day.

She looks in the mirror
And sees someone crappy,
Someone who used to be
Healthy and happy.

She's weak, she's pale,
She can't even speak,
She hasn't eaten
In almost two weeks.

She thinks that she is
In everyone's way,
She feels unwanted
So she starts to pray.

She takes out a gun
And points to her head,
In a matter of seconds
She'll be gone and dead.

She pulls the trigger,
Memories shoot through her mind,
The time has come
To put the pain behind.

That night her mother
Found her dead,
With a bullet hole
Right through her head.

Now she's in Heaven
Ringing gold bells,
Or maybe she's somewhere
Burning in Hell.
