The Biggest Lie

by just me   Apr 4, 2007

You brushed back the hair from my face
kissed me on my forehead
looked me in my eyes
and told the biggest lie

i love you escaped from your lips
how could you let such a lie slip
how could you hold me tight
how could you trespass into my dreams at night
how could you make my heart skip a beat
how could you make every girl wish to be me
how could you make me fall for you
how could you let me beleive your words were true

and then leave

i still dream of you at night
dream of you holding me tight
and when i see you my heart skips a beat
because for a second our eyes meet
and then she comes into veiw
her holding your hand standing beside you

You brushed back the hair from her face
kissed her on the forehead
looked her in the eyes
and i closed mine and prayed what u said next was a lie
