The Face Behind The Words

by James   Apr 4, 2007

Mindless rhymes
Killing time
Sitting in a box
Creating magic for the world to see
Yet the artist shall be hidden
The face behind the beauty
If shown would create a plight on the beauty
The beauty would end quickly
Living in his own world
Connected to mankind, his thoughts and fears
Go down through a small cord
Shaking, it will never stop
Deep dark lines
Written in hells own time
Forging powerful words
To creep inside the minds
And devour what is inside
Screaming realms of death and decay
The imagination is never far away
Make his own dreams
To please his wandering mind
Trapped in a cell
Under oceans and seas
No one wishes to see him
When they get the best of the lonely man
By pressing a few buttons, miles across the land
No one shall ever find him
No one wants to see
What this talent can do to thee
The race of man keeps him locked away
He longs for the day that he sees the suns rays
That man is a fighter and a writer
For if not
This would not exist
