If you were

by jessica   Apr 4, 2007

If you were laying next to me,
I place your head where you could see
The way I love you more than I
Have ever loved, in years gone by.

If you were laying next to me,
I'd never let you turn from me,
But if you did, I'd follow you,
So you felt how my love is true.

If you were laying in my bed,
I'd kiss your eyes, and stroke your head,
And tell you how you lift my heart.
I'd fill your dreams, to hide the dark.

But, you're still there, where you call home,
And I write words into a phone
So that you know my love will stay,
Till we wake together, every day.
