Thirteenth Day

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 4, 2007

The devil dances in darkness to his own delight
Hell is the void where there is no reflection of light
It is where the evil demons are forever burned
Rebelling against the good Lord from which they have turned
Tempting their poor victims to sin, with magical spells
Endlessly stealing willing souls, while ringing hell's bells
Entities eternally damned falling in the pit
No one truly wants to be hopelessly trapped in it
Though it is so easy to slide, that I must admit
Happiness is something they just can no longer feel

Days turn into nights when divine love seems so unreal
After the fall comes the coldest season of the year
Yet it is always the thirteenth day, the fallen fear

I liked this one better than the others, it spoke to me in great detail. I love your work. Once again the is no room for improvements, I think it is perfect. As perfect as perfect can be anyway. 5/5
