So Tired

by Lance Hardy   Apr 5, 2007

I've grown so tired
Of being who I am
The life that I've lead
I really don't give a damn

I crawl into a bottle
To forget what I've lost
I didn't know what I had
And now is the cost

I hate to admit this
But my life is for naught
I've lost the will to function
I miss the past a lot

Maybe I'm just disturbed
But I know what I know
The truth is hard to deal with
I feel I need to go

I haven't been happy
Since way back when
Life was so simple
Now seems so forgotten

I'm here for no reason
I'm just wasting good time
Now here is the end
Of this depressing old rhyme
===============================
Sometimes, you just get so tired...

I know the feeling. This is a really good job! I like the way you made the rhyme scheme.
