Eragon

***Warning! Spoiler***!

Your sword of emotion cut me deep
My emotions flow downhill steep
I fight and defend
No time to let my wounds mend
Sword to sword
I will not call you lord
My dragon is here
Now you all must fear
Saphira and me
I accept no plea
Bron is dead
The one who led
Me this far
On a bright midnight star

*-Sky-*

This poem was inspired by the book Eragon, which I just read and I love that book! :D

Well the title of thep oem made me intrested in the poem. :) Your right, it is an amazing read. Though have to say i didnt really enjoy the film. Looking forward ot the third book. :)
Anyways this poem was quite short compared to the other poems of your i read. Yet you did do a good job. I dont know but your first two line's, it seems as thought your talking. The rest of the poem your putting yourself in eragon's position. That kinda confused me. Anywyas a good usage of rhyme, none of it seemed forced. I have to say, that if i hadnt read the book, well you put a spoiler their! The "Bron is dead" Haha you hsould of put a spoiler warning. Still a good read. Keep writing! xx

This is a beautiful poem! I must say, the book was A LOT better than the movie, but I'll not drown you in a speech. I love how you used the book as your reference. I like poems based on other things. I agree with Trying to hold on, you're 12 and very talented. Great Job!
