Pretty Girl

by Heidi Harover   Apr 5, 2007

Katie was a pretty girl
with golden hair and flawless curls.
Every night, she went to bed.
Every night, her prayers were said.

Her money kept in a piggy bank
when it shook, she heard it clank.

Her parents loved her so very much
as well as her sister and her dog buch.

At school she was liked by all these boys
talking to her, their minds filled with joys.

She collected little coffee mugs
with on them, pictures of ladybugs.

Teenage years came and changed the rest,
turning life around, she got depressed.

Her money kept in a piggy bank
From sleeping around and being a skank.

Her parents loved her so very much,
nobody else did, she lost all their trust.

At school she was liked by all these boys
that she had used as her little toys.

She collected little coffee mugs
Filled with all of her earned drugs.

A sharp razor became her friend,
everyday, she wanted life to end.

Katie was a pretty girl
with golden hair and flawless curls.
Every night, she went to bed.
Until the night she wound up dead.

    Once again.
To me, this stanza was random

Her money kept in a piggy bank
when it shook, she heard it clank.

    Throughout your poem.
    You kept mentioning money.
It was just kind of randomn to me.

nobody else did, she lost all [[they're]] trust
    It's "their"
    Like I said.
I'm not really into the suicide and cutting.
I'll lower my vote because of that.
    I'm sorry :[

    Wound
    ^woke
Only error I found. Other than that, the poem really potreyd about a little cute girl becoming a teenager and still as pretty as she is on the outside becomes an ugly brat inside. Lol. Well done! God Bless 5/5
