Left Behind

The dreams I had that you once shared are now away and gone. So has the light that shined upon our faces, turned so dim so only darkness shone
But now I think to myself be that real love? Or peace or harmonies like a million doves?
For me it was a love so true. It almost explained why the sea is blue
But now I see that I've made a terrible mistake. And never again will that heart that I've left behind break

    Great piece here, I really liked it. But I think if you put it in stanzas or in a form of a poem it'd give it structure, but overall it was a great poem!
