When love causes pain
It breaks my heart
And Blood runs through
The several cracks

Tears fall from my eyes
And run down my face
Falling swiftly to the earth

My hands & knees are bruised
From all the times I fall
Fall to the hard ground

My world seems to darken
There is no sun in the sky
To brighten up my world

The scars and scratches
Seem to hurt even more
And dug deeper then before

Place a patch on my heart
To prevent the blood flow

Wipe my face lightly
To take away the tears

Help me up and place
Band-Aids on my bruises

Be the sunshine in my life
To scare away the dark

So they show no more
