Alone Again

by Jemma   Apr 5, 2007

You see what you do to me
This is not the way
Blacked out trees and power lines
Blocking my only way

I'm left alone again
Grasping for a hold
Breaking through the barriers
Of all the lies you've told

You haunt my dreams in terror tales
I see you with my waking eyes
You whisper poison to my ears
And leave me paralysed

The moment comes; you leave me
The time is here; deceive me
The sun sets behind a weary shroud
Of too dark a mass of cushioned cloud

You see what you do to me
A wash of pain, despair
But through all you've made me suffer
I can no longer care

I'm left in silent solitude
To drink my fill of life's riches
Before you rip me to pieces
And unpick all my stitches

I'm left alone again
Grasping for a hold
Breaking through the barriers
Of all the lies you've told
