Walk Away

We spent many months together,
Sharing so much incredible love.
Everyone said we'd last forever,
They said a love like ours was something they've always dreamed of.
But all good things come to an end,
And I think it's time that our love needs to.
I'm sorry,
I hope your heart will mend,
I just no longer love you.
You've hurt me too many times,
For me to keep running back to you.
You've told me too many lies,
So this is something I have to do.
I have to say good-bye,
And I know its gonna hurt,
I know I'm gonna cry.
But I'm gonna try to stay strong,
And tell myself that saying good-bye to you isn't wrong.
Today will be the day,
That I say good-bye.
Today will be the day,
That I finally get enough courage to walk away.

    Really good poem.
    Like I said you need stanzas. Another advice, try use the same amount of syllables in your lines. Not the exact but similar as or same amount of words. It won't through the flow off. Keep up with the writing. The more you write the better you will get. God Bless 5/5

    Okay first the flow was a tad off...next time try the syllabol count on each line because some lines are to short and some to long.
