This pain inside,
These silent tears,
I've kept them hidden,
For all these years.

This life I lead,
These things I do,
I've kept them hidden,
And no one knew.

Then you came along,
So different from the rest,
No more did I hide,
The worst or the best.

You accepted who I was,
Every last part of it,
And on top of that,
My world you lit.

Now I'm thanking you
And you know who you are,
You're my Guiding Angel
And Shining Star.
