Broken Princess

by Angel Of Death   Apr 6, 2007

Hidden beneath a foundation disguise,
Gleaming tears, a million sorrowful cries;
With eyeliner and mascara uncontrollably bleeding,
No longer able to hide, her pain is revealing.

That pretty pink smile, no longer shines,
Barely "picture perfect" while drowning in cries
Slowly now, out creeps the frown,
She's nobody's princess, she's once to many broke down.

"The princess isn't made by the crown"
She tells herself as she throws it down.
A good thing that, as it no longer fits,
At least not now, while her life turns to shit.
