Watercolor Beauty

Watercolor Beauty

the sun shines vibrantly
casting shadows upon
the distant mountain tops
as a hawk soars gracefully
amongst the feathery clouds

in a meadow of wildflowers
butterflies dance to the music
of the bubbling brook
trees sway in a soft breeze
as the mockingbird sings

tranquility surrounds the valley
like a lullaby being sung
a watercolor of pure beauty
for each and every eye to behold
of mother nature embracing the earth
