Nice! I haven't read any of your other poems, but I really liked the style of this one. You've understood that, in a short poem, every single word counts - nothing can be superfluous.

Nice idea. I think it could've been longer, you could've done a second tanka, but considering the small amout of space you had to work with, you did great.

Anyways.
I liked this one; it said a lot for me in just a few stanzas. Bright and well written.
And I adore the ending line; it made the poem what it is.
