Angel#1(Snow)

by ShadowedEyesLie   Apr 7, 2007

The snow fell toward the ground
As if welcoming the tears from her face
But those tears were no longer there
And a smile replaced them

This smile shows the world
That she will no longer be hurt by them
She'll be who she want to be
And they might as well love her

If they get to know the real her
She'll show them a great time
But if they know the fake her
They might as well run for their lives

Working outside never seemed so fun
With those cold bits of ice swirling around
And with all the commotion in the air
There was no way she could frown

The last time she smiled with all her heart
Was the day he said they could restart
But she discovers now that all she wants
Is to find the one who will make her soar

It might have been him but he's a friendship
That she shall never ever end.
Maybe hes the one to make her soar
Or maybe the new guy is outside her door

In the cold snow, waiting to hold her close
To spread their wings together will be wonderful
She shall not search for the one who she will love
Because there is no need, he'll find her.

She is an angel, thats what she's been called
Maybe he knew it was the truth at the time
But now hopefully he'll see her soar through the sky
With the prettiest smile and laugh the world has known.
