Salvatrucha

(1985)
Young soldier
knows more than others what he fights for
he fights for his people
the ones who work in the fields
the ones whos cry can be heard at night
he gets no reward for his effort
he gets no parade
20 years later this young soldier
is now a man
a father
a husband
just one of the crowd
his past becomes a secret
no one knows what this man has seen
the blood the pain he shed and felt
and continues to feel
no one knows of his sacrifices
no one knows but him
the young soldier

No one knows what this man has seen

Like 2pac said. "see what I see when I close my eyes, and it would make you crazy" People will never know, they'll never understand because their eyes will never meet the attrocities that other peoples have before. The real heros, the real soldiers are living amongst us. They never get the real recognition they deserve. I salute them.
