The River Jordan

by RetroRavey   Apr 7, 2007

The river flows,
Through sweet Jordan.
The country of my true redemption.
Can I ever fail in my
Undeniable patriotism.
I cry into this river,
She is my salvation,
And in many other names
And forms she is my friend,
My sister,
My twin.
The river flows
Through lovely Jordan,
This black birds nest
To rest in.
