Earth Drums

Earth Drums

although the sun
brilliantly shines
and the sky is
a magnificent blue

off in the distance
is softly heard
mother nature beating
upon the earth

out on the horizon
can be seen
grey clouds rapidly
moving over the sea

closer to shore now
the sun hides
sound of drums
are more intense

darkness embraces
the silent coastline
lightning flashes
rain pours down

mother nature
sings her tune
releasing her anger
playing earth drums

You and Sunny both capture the TRUE beauty of it portray it in a way where the reader is left begging for me!!!! This what poetry is all about!!! You have something I didn't know you had girl!!!! HAHAHA I've been away far too long!!!! This is beautiful!!!!! From beginning to end and even after you captured my heart!!!!!! Awesome write!!!
