Writing

Writing away my pain,
drowning in my words,
for it'd be the last thing I ever,
write about him.

About the way his touch makes me melt,
his smile makes me want to kiss him,
his words are my safety,
and his eyes were mine to stare at.

I'm writing away myself,
on this poetry,
you'll see me smile and hear me laugh,
you'll never know what's going on behind these eyes.

As I stare out that window,
and drift away,
my daydreams are filled with him,
and you'll never know by the way I stare out the window.

I'm writing to someone,
who isn't mine,
but I have to do this,
if not for him then for myself.

I dance around my room,
thinking about dancing the night away with him,
I stare at the stars,
thinking about the night we laid under them.

I'm writing for him,
but I don't think he knows,
this will be our little secret,
because he's too happy to notice every word relates to him.

I notice....your writing is coming along well...though telling you that only seems to hurt you...5/5
