Rainbow Droplets

Cascading colours of twirling dreams
Standing in the sunshine's golden stream
Amused at the bright illuminating glow
Emitting emotions usually left alone
Warmth and wellbeing seep on through
Along cool veins coursing blue
Aliveness wakes like a shiver
Releasing adrenaline from that trigger
Purely by a simple smile
As the sunlight caught to defile
His frown and worry swept away
In the light, hate forgotten today

So catch my eye as we walk around
Under the water's dappled screen

Dancing in rainbow droplets
