I used to walk around
thinking everything was fine,
I cut out all the bad sound
that's where I drew the line;
But sound is from the outside
that's the hurt I blocked out,
But I found I was hurting in the inside
and everyday I was living in doubt;
I was running away from His voice
So He said," Night and day, you'll live in fear",
But it is your choice
so if you want, choose to live in despair;
He caused my heart to tremble
and my eye sight to fail,
Everyday I would stumble
until I came to jail;
He put me here for a reason
He gave me 3 months to learn,
That all my pain was a lesson
and that it wasn't meant for me to burn;
There is more for me than what I thought
and that He has a plan for me,
I don't have to fear everyday and night
that's what He wants me to see;
I can let go of all
as long as I have Him,
Cause the Lord said that He won't let me fall
and with me, the devil will never win!
