Late

by Brianna Ross   Apr 8, 2007

She jumps out of bed in a happy mood
But then she realizes she's late for school
She jumps in the shower and brushes her teeth
Fixes her hair but wants to sleep

She fixes her book bag and See's her mother still asleep
So she quietly leaves the house trying to sneak
She chases down the bus and pays her fare
Looking in her mirror she has the wrong color bow in her hair

She misses her stop so she has to walk 2 blocks
In front of her school she waits and watches
No one is there she says we all must late
She knocks on the door and sits and waits

The janitor comes and open the door
With a funny look on his faces she walks threw the door
He says sweet pea what are you here for
School she replies and she walks down the hall
Today is Sunday its no school at all
