Slave of Darkness

by Romancing the Darker Side   Apr 9, 2007

The day she became
A slave of the dark
Was the day her past
Was destined to mark

A scar, a cut,
And a bruise here and there
Made the world seem
Like it never did care

He slit her lips
And she was instantly dead
Into the darknes, she will follow
With a feeling of dread

He takes her hand
And leads her out of the light
Although her body is there
Her soul is out of sight

A monster is what
She has become
The creature within her
Has already won

It drinks her tears
Cold and salty, thouh they may be
Bound and shackled
She dreams of being free

Never returning
To the world of sunlight
She blows one last kiss
To one she knew was right
