Story

-Story
I was inspired to write when I saw a picture of a book, ripped and torn. My thoughts started spinning, could it of been a love story? If so, was all the pain worth it? This is my poem, called "Story" my view of the love story.

~

Tangled in the words so soft,
lightly whispered passion.
touched in the ink-filled thoughts,
with a love-made fashion.

Creases fold in time of greed,
making one forever mark.
Fighting dies with darkened blurs,
and shortens the fiery spark.

Rips of anger put pain on thee,
and tears make the river.
raining words seem to block,
what the heart can deliver.

Words fall to a story,
to set the living free.
But hatred falls upon the letters,
and creates a stormy sea.

I really enjoy your word use, the idea is extremely unique, that pulled me in. I like that you could take the idea of a tattered book and make it so visible and enticing to the reader.
