I Take Orders From My Heart

As I stare at my blank T.V.
I don't seem to realize it's off
When I try to scream
I just let out a cough

Hope is hopeless
And worth is worthless
Sanity has turned to insanity
I am lost among humanity

Wandering the hollow plains
Of a land left to rot
She'll never know how much I love her
More likely than not

My thoughts are illogical
And my actions don't make sense

Not even a picket fence
