This was beautifully written, Joe. The emotion was true and I was wondering, did you write it for the person who wrote a comment before me? You used an excellent choice of words, and the description worked well. My favorite part was:

Her eyes sparkling with such joy
And her walk graceful as can be
She'll always speak her mind
With her voice so soft and free

In the last verse, first line.. I think it would be better if you said an "ounce" insead of "once". Just merely a thought babe.

This is another great job by you, i like the emotion in it, how you appriciate someone, in fact i can relate to this poem as awhile ago i left a comment in a poem which was angel type poem also, once in my life i was going through a hard time when someone took my side and walk sise by side with me and she helped me overcome the hard time in my life, for me she is an angel who s sent from the above,

Wow this was so sweet. its amazing how much joy can emerge out of a single friendship and it just amazes me as well how important they are in our lives, without our friends we are nothing, for they are the ones that always have our backs no matter what. And from your poem I can tell that you have a very good friend with you. Keep a close grip on her because friends like that come around once in a lifetime. Amazing job on the poem, you made it sound so sweet without sounding overly mushy and cheese, which is very hard to do sometimes because there is a thin line. Well done I really loved this one.
