My saddest memory

by isabel   Apr 9, 2007

Remember me?
I am the one you pushed away
How can that be?
So long gone, now back again

I'm now a stranger that looks you in the eyes
You forgot my face, my voice, my smile
But I did not forget your stories, your lies
Your angelic look that keeps pain inside

When I saw you again, I thought it wasn't real
You saw tears in my eyes, all was the same
You brought back again what time couldn't heal
How should I say you only have yourself to blame?

I suffered, I cried, my heart is now cold
I went away, while you suffered like me
But you gave me away, like if I could be sold
Now, this poem is yours, my saddest memory

Again another pain of ache and sorrow.
Your use of words are very effective and remember if there's no feel in a poems words then there is no heart.

    I love your emotion

When your heart is broken, buy glue,
    move on, and you'll see,
a peaceful sky, painted in blue,
    over a greenish calm sea.
