The Blushing Bride

by Carly   Apr 10, 2007

In her coal black wedding dress
stands the blushing bride
Clutching her black roses tightly
by her naive grooms side
Softly he clears his throat
wrapping an arm around her hips
The priest says he may kiss her
but she won't touch his lips
Because she saw him with the maid
having a little innocent fun
So she slipped some poison in his drink
before the ceremony had begun
All of a sudden the groom isn't well
and he can no longer stand
He collapses dead on the floor
still holding his brides hand
The guests are all terrified
because there's not a hospital for miles
They try to comfort the stone bride
who hides a menacing smile
