Slipping

by Melissa   Apr 10, 2007

Oh how the skin can crave
the weight of a lover
when unloved for so long,
it's getting hard to sleep
heart's restless
and my limbs are pacing again

I'm losing peace,
years are slipping to months
then days will be
all I have left
to fill this void
before it completely hollows me
