Sunshine and Snow

by The Queen of Spades   Apr 10, 2007

'Cross barren lands
A winter maze
The sky brings hope
To icy days

When amber sun
Comes forth with light
It taints the cold
With heated might

Though birds sing tales
Of frost and woe
Shine, it cometh
Through cloud and snow

And eyes gaze out
At glistening white
Blocked with warmth
From frozen plight

Remnants of storm
Though they remain
Sun always comes
To relieve cold pain
