Help you out

by mesolithic   Apr 10, 2007

I swear if I could
turn things around
for you,
I'd sell my cigarettes,
and give up my mind,
to help you out.

But I can't see an answer,
In my eyes,
In my mouth,
In my mistakes.

I can only listen,
to help you out,
I can devote my ears,
to help you out.

You can't expect an answer,
just a devoted Friend,
that you can rely on
to help you out.
