Are you here?
As i sit with my weary heart that aches so much,
i cannot find the words to describe it.
Except perhaps "my death"...
Are you here?
When i talk to you and cry for you to hear me,
Walking around our house once shared,now so empty.
Are you here?
When i curse and shout at the heavens who stole you,
Looking toward the sky with my eyes full of tears.
Are you with me?
When i curl up into a ball each night in bed,
And sob into the pillow that still holds your scent.
Are you there?
When i stand beside the fresh soil of your grave
And kneel to touch the earth that seperates you from me.
I want you here...
To look into my soul less eyes and see what i see,
I see nothing without you.
Please come to me, save me,
Take me away from all this death that they call living,
Without you, there is no life in this body,
Please come back and take me with you.
