Second Best

My heart is breaking
It's cracking in two
The pain is too deep
For me to swim through

Without you here
I don't feel complete
Everything about me
Is now obsolete

The way that I'm feeling
I try hard to hide
But it's always there
Fixated inside

The time that we shared
I'll never forget
But in my broken heart
I know you regret

As each day went by
I know you loved me less
No matter what I did
I was always second best...
