I Walk with Thee

I walk down a rusty trail.
I walk around in darkness,
Trying to find the light.

I walk in circles.
I walk the distance,
To find that of which Im missing.

I walk to every corner.
I walk with all my might,
Where I am going.

I walk around each corner.
I walk with all that is me,
From the darkness.

I walk to remember.
I walk to hold,
Hold all that is me.

I walk to hide.
I walk to be free,
Free from the shell that keeps me.

I walk when Im afraid.
I walk when Im not,
To hold each day as my own.

I walk to faith.
I walk to hope,
Hope to see your face.

I walk in the darkness.
I walk to see you,
To take me from this darkness.

I walk to the peace.
I walk to the light,
The light of your heart to guide me.

I walk to reach you.
I walk to know,
To know the hope all around.

I walk to you.
I walk to be with you,
To hold my arms around you.
