How I see

by Raye   Apr 11, 2007

While others dont care
Blind but not blind,
Yet they do not see.

Not understanding,
Taking what they have for granted,
Blind they are.

We see not with our eyes,
We see with our hearts,
And with our hands.

We see things differently,
We imagine,
We understand.

One day I showed a man,
Showed him what I meant,
Somehow he understood.

I showed this man,
This man my sight,
I showed this man my mind.

I showed him,
Showed him my Cathedral.
Drawn on the wall.

The eyes are not the only thing we have to see with. Some of us take our sight for granted. We dont even use it because we are so blinded to see the truth. I really liked this poem. Nicely penned

    All the best,
