Fake

by uwouldntno   Apr 11, 2007

These "friends" I have
aren't even considered friends anymore
They don't really care when I'm happy
and could care less if I was sad.
Although they call themselves my friends
they say that we're "best buds."
The first time they spoke these words
I thought they were for real, I was
so excited it was like a big boulder
being lifted off my shoulders.
I soon found out that these words
they spoke were fake, they told me what
I wanted to hear for oh so very long.
How silly and vulnerable I must have been
to actually of thought of these words as real.
Although i know these words are fake
they still try to pretend
But when they say this, actually the jokes on them
They have no idea, how many tears I've cried,
They haven't the slightest clue, how many times I've lied
How many times I've said "I'm fine," and "Every thing's really OK." Cus every time I said that it really had not truth.
Will they ever get that, no, were not friends
Maybe they will learn to care
Maybe someday they will take 5 min to get to know me
But until them, I will still have these fake friends.
