Midnight Miskake

by Kara   Apr 12, 2007

Darkness rolled over the sky
No sound to hear and no cries
Amber, Denee, and I
All walking around the neighborhood at midnight
We laughed and played
screamed and waved
We went to the skate park that day
We had hours of fun
Running up and down
all around
we heard a noise
coming closer and closer
Finally it stopped
two boys and a girl eight years older
we were 7 they 15
we said out Hi's and sat on the ramp with pride
i slid down to catch some water
one boy looked and laughed
As i saw him come closer and closer
I kept walking and walking
Not stopping
Not looking behind
He grabbed me by the neck
Held me to the fence
Darkness coverd his face except his eyes
Eyes of horror
Eyes of fear
Eyes which i didn't want to be near
My heart pounded
Wanting to be loose
Screaming let go
Hearing No!
No help at all
Friends held back by Satan's slaves
I'm tied in a knot
Afraid to try to ex scape
All I feel is a Knife on my neck
Tears ran down my face
My breath ripping through my body
My heart slowing down
Beat by Beat i fell weak
I felt scared
I felt fear of him being near
The boy looked into my eyes
He kept looking and looking in my eyes
All i could feel was fire racing through the veins in my body
He finally told my friends and I
To get out of here Todays not the time to die
I ran and ran
Till I reached the end of the field
I took one look back into hell
The devil himself was starring still into my eyes
I went on running
Through passages of darkness
Till I reached The doorway
I walk in to find myself with my mother
All she could say was:
"What is wrong my dear?"
