The real me (True Poem)

The Real Me (True poem)

I look around me
Only if I could hear
What they were saying
I hide in fear

Fear of being reject
But I know
And what to expect
Hopefully I can cope

With my hearing disability
Hoping people won't tease
That I cannot speak
But only with my hands

But this is the real me
My life, I choose to stand
Yes, I am deaf
And there's no regret

This is the real me
Go ahead if you wanna tease
At least I still can speak
But with my own hands

(I have grew up deaf, expecting the expected, people teased me for it but then eventually I ingored it and be who I really was.. being deaf.. heck Im proud of it)
