My Wish

I walked outside
Among so many stars
I was struck by their light
I stared for hours
Wondering why all this had to be
Was I crazy for believing this was all real
Was I another crazy person
Wishing upon a star
Well I saw my shooting star this night
I made my wish
I hope everything turns out all right
No one will know my wish
But someone could guess
If they could look alil into my heart
Just like she could
But I blurred her thoughts
With all that crazy that pushes away
Which blew me away
Even on this day
It wasn't like I was trying too
I made everyone wonder if you can understand me
She knew me the best
Probably more than me
Because I found myself lost every night
Except for the nights I heard her make sounds
Like three words that made me feel all right
Like someone might actual care
But at least I still have time to make it up
Maybe my wish can give me hope
Pull me through the long days that seem endless
But one thing I can tell you about my wish
It was something that wasn't all just for me....
