Great poem. Love seeing the brightness in this piece.

Now six months later my heart is finally free,
healed by love and happy memories,
and for as long as my heart can see,
I will love you, that is my guarantee.

    Loved this stanza. Excellent!
    Take care your friend Cindy

and for as long as my heart can see,
I will love you, that is my guarantee.

"distroyed by the pain left inside," (sic) (= Destroyed was mispelled in the line.)

I'm glad you got over your former love in just six months of pain; mine's 5 years, and probably still ongoing... When you said, "for as long as my heart can see, I will love you, that is my guarantee.", it makes me wonder how lucky this girl must be to have such a wonderful assurance. I envy her. (lol, just kidding.)
Can you see now how amazing Love can be? :)
Haha. Keep on writing what you feel and like.
all the best and take care.
    Love,

    Beautiful!
    seriously, i really liked this.
the flow was flawless and the rhyming was all good, none seemed forced at all!
and i absolutely love the middle stanza. for me it was the saddest and most descriptive part of the poem.
    great job! 5/5

    Comment #5:
The trial of moving on with life, from whatever it may be holding us back. And it seems only love can get us through those terrible times. And this poem describes a man who truly is a MAN, because many can't let a love in b/c of their pain. I hope that made some sense :), but basically I'm saying...GREAT job! :)

Firstly I would like to say that I enjoyed the rhyme and flow in this piece. It makes for a nice read.
Second, I think it is brilliant how you used the two emotions of happy and sad and make the transition between them smooth.
yet again you wrote a very nice poem!

    thanks,
