Silly Little Girl

by Brigitte   Apr 12, 2007

Once upon a time
Not so very long ago
There lived a beautifully elegant maiden
About the age of sixteen or so

Auburn was the color of her curly locks
Cream was the color of her silky skin
Her eyes reflected a color of deep ocean blue
And her heart shaped face finished in a delicate chin.

Her heart beat the sound of a perfect melody
And she walked with a mysterious grace
Her palms carried the touch of love
And her lips spoke sweet song to every place

Her kiss was a touch of sweet poison
Her cheeks were a fireplace of passion
Her lips hid two rows of creamy white pearls
And her tiny frame was shawled in the latest fashion

Who is this maiden; slave of beauty?
Alas, I fear to tell you more
Already your lips tremble with lust
And your greedy heart, beats itself sore

For this young mistress of mortal delight
Took a ride upon the wings of death
Her heart was broken a time to many
Loneliness seeped from her final breath

There was more than the eyes of Adam saw
Under it all, she was just a silly little girl out on a limb
With her hopes and dreams much to high
Especially for a boy like him
