The Sound of the Rain

The sounds of raindrops
Upon my open window
Drip, drop, drip, drop
They tell a story of freedom

The whisper of winds
Curling through my head
Swish, sway, shwish, sway
They speak a tale of nonconformity

The noise of thunder
Booming with rage
Boom, bang, boom, bang
It sings the song of sadness

The rays of sunshine
Opening the sky
So bright, so bright
They show the sight of happiness

    You have written a rather wonderful piece of nature poetry, hun. Its simplicity and overall effectiveness had me enthralled by reading it. I especially loved the sounds created in my ears/mind through this stanza:
    "The noise of thunder
    Booming with rage
    Boom, bang, boom, bang
    It sings the song of sadness"
