The little Red Coat

by Rachael   Apr 13, 2007

The little red coat,
Pristine in the morose, morning sky.
Her daddy's far away,
Innocent, a tiny child, she doesn't ask him why.

Seasons come and seasons go,
time shows no mercy,
as days become years.

The little red coat
sits locked away,
oblivious to a thousand tears.
