Faith

I need to step outside my mind
And find someone else
Forget who I was
To find myself
i'm not a house wife
I have not failed
I will breath in my mistakes
And then I will exhale
I will embrace tomorrow with a smile
And know this journey has just begun
I will look into the eyes of my enemies
And forgive them for all they have done
No more what if
I can't should, could
Separate myself from my addictions
Treasure all that I have that is good
Dreams and ambitions
In life lies hope
The harder I fight
The more I cope
The girl I was
Lived in a place of fantasy
The woman I am
Will make it reality
I'm 21 years old
I live to preach
If I can touch others
My dreams arn't out of reach
Disintegrate those negative thoughts
That poisoned my soul
Independence is my freedom
Despite what i have been told
This is the first step
My demons have been freed
there is nothing holding me back
I have the will to succeed
When I look in the mirror
At the reflection of who I was
For the first time I have clarity
i'm no longer lost
For all that I was
An all that I will be
I made it rain in hell
Because I had faith in me
