This poets dream

This poet is
Just another dreamer
in a sea of millions
wanting to change the world
wanting to be seen and heard
writing poems of meaning and pain
as prophets once did
using words instead of weapons
this poet dreams of a better day
when no child will go hungry
when no one will cry and no one will die
this poet dreams
not judging by peoples appearence
but accepting each other
as we truly are
but this poet
is just another teenage girl
a school girl
a sister
a daughter
people ignore the youths
knowledge and awarness
we simply no nothing
and are blinded by desires
but this girl this poet
will not run with the crowd and stay silent
she'll speak out and say whats
wrong with the world and whats on her mind
we all live in the same world
it effects everyone
so if you have something to say
you better say it quick
because were not meant to live forever
say it now
or stay silent for life
and die knowing you never
made a god damn difference to this world
sadly no one cares anymore
but this poet cares
and her dream
will live on......
