I'm tired of the tears
They always seem to fall
When your in another state
I don't know who else to call

They lied when they said I'd be okay
Cause it's just not true
Everyone thinks
They know what I'm going through

We have limited contact
Sometimes its hard to deal
When I just want to hug you
Your hugs i can't feel

I think back to the time
When life was good
When you were down town
In the "hood"

At that time
We didn't know what we'd become
We only cared about
Fooling around and acting dumb

Now two moves later
Your no where near me
It's hard on both of us
When it's each other we want to see
